Create View to (filename) will accomplish almost all of what you want. I don't think it checks for multiple datasessions, nor does it store the current recno(). However, you can run a for/next loop through multiple datasessions (pick a large number) and in each datasession do the same for the open tables to check the current recno() etc.

What are you trying to do? If you let us know your goal the UT might come up with a simpler method.
