Hi Jennifer,

I've been there a couple times myself and IMHO I would likely rewrite the whole thing. You can grab pieces of code here and there, and once in a while you might even be able to get a whole procedure to move over quietly, but it's no easy road to travel. I wouldn't bother trying to convert the screens to forms; that was a nightmare and we quickly decided to just do them from scratch. If you don't have much time and you're not trying to take advantage of OO, why bother moving it to Visual at all? Other than to be ready for the next version. :-)

Regards, Renoir

Is there anyway I could use some of the old routines and attach them to a menu item and use DO XXX.prg? I have used the old code for the login procedure and that worked. As far as the other more complex routines, I have not been able to reuse the 2.6 code. Any suggestions or advise?
