We had that problem for a while with a FPW 2.6 app under NT. In our case it was printer dependant (a QMS printer), but I suspect it may have something to do with the interaction of the print spools...Workstation/Server/Printer based. It could be that the printer send a message, when it's memory is full, which NT interprets as a failed print job...and then NT defaults to restarting the job.

We had to switch printers. :-(
Our new HP printers are working great. :-)

Kind of a mixed blessing.
