Thanks, Ed. It's much clearer now.

When I installed my new 6.4GB drive, NT didn't want to create an NTFS partition over 4GB on it (during the NT installation). So, I installed NT on one of the FAT partitions, formated the whole new drive on NTFS and reinstalled NT on the new partition. I still don't understand why NT didn't want to create the 6.4GB partition the first time... It didn't complain about the size when the partition was already there.

Now: Let's say I have a drive > 4GB already formatted NTFS, one partition. Can I install NT on it (single boot, single drive)? You know, just curious... :)
