This kind of discussion is based on the foundation of programming in VFP (or any other OOP language). I don't know how many man-hours were spent by UT members reading the 50+ messages in the thread but I'd bet NO-ONE thought they were wasted. If we didn't learn something new we were able to solidify our thinking and justify to ourselves the way we handle code.
