I built in a small command window - and I walked the customer through a successful ?drivetype('a:') which returned 2. Next we tried:
cd a: - worked.
dir *.* - worked.
I failed to try to have him copy to or from in the command window. (I should have)
The only difference I have right now in what I am trying to do is copy a file from a: to the HD in my '.exe' file. This same bit of code is working fine on about 75 different machines from 486-33s to Pentium II 450's with no problem - the only one I've got a problem with is one machine with a LS120. The drive appears to work fine for his other software, ie: Windows Explorer, save to using other software, but I can't read, copy from or to - gives me invalid disk in otherwise working code. He gets out of the vfp program and its fine.
