I got the same mailing on The Power of Visual FoxPro video.
It is essentially the same video that all DevCon attendees
received on the last day of the conference with one big
difference. Now the new, improved version of the video
opens up with a big portion of Microsoft's Bob Muglia's (the
VP of the Internet Tools Division, at least at that time)
opening DevCon speech talking about where Visual FoxPro is
going and MS's commitment to it. Also, highlighted at that
same time at DevCon is Calvin Hsia's quick demonstration of
one part of what will be in the next release of the product
where he drags-and-drops a VFP form onto Internet Explorer
and IE actually knows what to do with it. It's a great demo
of what is coming and of the MS commitment to VFP.
The rest of the video is great material, too, just not from
DevCon but pre-DevCon. It is an excellent vehicle for
convincing those who may be on the fence concerning where
FoxPro is and where it may be going.
I recommend it highly. I watched my just receivced new copy
just last night.
