I've just got this same error. I was doing a test. Built my exe with a modeless form. Ran the exe which flashed the form then shut down. Changed my project to have a runner program set as main. Tried to build my exe again - error 'Cannot update the cursor'. Rebooted my PC, still the same. None of the files are read only! Any ideas?
