For sysop message, you can select the option from the creation of a new message.

As for your request, if you mean replies, then you can access them at any time by clicking the mailbox red icon. They will only be remove from your confirmation.

If you mean new messages then you can use what you have done by clicking the previous login but this will only work one step back.

Previous messages can be retrieve in any ways from the search engine.
