I'm not SURE about anything :-D But I did read at the MS MCP site that you could sign up to take the new Solutions Architecture beta FREE and that if you were chosen to take it you also got a FREE shot at the real exam when it goes into production. Your best bet is to bounce over to the website and see for yourself.

I have heard from both my local testing center & another person that works for an ATEC that the beta exams are typically 1/2 price or $50 like I think Garrett said on this thread. Although - my local testing center said they thought it would be the same with this beta, but they wouldn't know for sure until registration period began.
