I'm using "store sqlconnect("cne_data", "", "") to db" to open my connection to an Access mdb. Whenever this line of code is hit the first thing that pops up is a selection box for the user to select which ODBC connection they want. I just said which one it is (cne_data) in my sqlconnect statemnt, so why is this coming up?

Also, it doesn't appear to make any difference whether I fill in the user name and password in the second box that comes up, the login box, or not. I still get approved to go on and access the database. What do I need to do to make this more secure?

I've got a login screen for the application that immediately follows this. Only the users listed in my users table can get to it. Maybe I should just get rid of all this ODBC signon stuff altogether?

Thanks.
