I have a child grid that shows order items as a reference when scrolling through a parent table using a VCR buttonset.

I also have a another grid on the form which is sometimes used as parent to the child grid.

I need to alternate between which on is controlling the child grid.


The relationships are as follows:

Clock is the MAIN parent table (in a Grid)

|- then Job_Info is the a child to Clock (VCR buttons)
| and a Parent to Job_Items
|
|
|
|- then finally, Job_Item is the child. (in a grid)


I have the LinkMaster set as Job_Info. You would think that when the grid containing the master parent Clock changes rows, that the child grid job_item would update and show only the corresponding records.

But is does not unless I specifically change the LinkMaster to Clock.
