You're probably going to need to use TAPI (the Telephony API, part of Microsoft's Platform SDK) and a TAPI-compliant modem with CallerID capability (Zoom makes one, as does Diamond/Supra.) I've never used TAPI inside a VFP application, so I'm not too certain what difficulties you're looking at in adapting TAPI to VFP.
