Another way to count lines of code is with the class brower under the "tools" menu. One of the options is "view class code" which permits you to print the code. If your printer has the option of adding line numbers to text, you can get an instant count of the lines of "code" in an object.

This will not work for .prg files, menus, reports, label -- any non-object.

Also, Kevin, I do not think Craig's reply to you was at all useless. There is no guarantee here or elsewhere that if you ask a question you will get an answer you like. It takes no talent to be rude, but quite a lot to be civil when you feel like being rude.
