Check out the technique used by MS Tasmanian Traders example application. They just use a character field that contains a path to a .bmp file. Then when you select that user name to log in it checks to see if that character field is empty or not. If it is not empty then set the picture property of the image control to the path specified in that field. I use this method because it is easier to manage the picture files in a separate directory of employee pictures that any program can use. All you need to do is specify a path to the employee photo in you user setup form. It can then be stored anywhere on the LAN.
