Thanks for your prompt response.

I'm not sure what you mean about re-generating the index from scratch. I need to do a seek into the view so I don't have an order set in the view but index in the load command. I found I could not index when buffering was set so I set the buffering after I index the view. Is this correct? Is there a better way to create an index when you need to seek on a view?
