I tried disable the control (it is actually a treeview), but it does not work, i.e. it still receives the mouse click. Is it because my pick-list is not based on a modal form?

>Normally, it should not work this way. If for some strange reason it works, then you can make situation safer by for example temporarily disabling main form controls which may be 'clicked' this way.
