I've never run into a problem like this but I would suggest using the Novell Client instead of Microsofts. The Microsoft Client for Novell Networks is more buggy and less stable.
When we were using the Microsoft Client, users would get the 'blue screen of death' when trying to print to network printers in FPDOS. We called M$ and they suggested downloading the Novell Client because it was better. Since then no problems. HTH
>Has anybody had problems with file corruption on Novell 3.12 Servers, Win95/98 workstations using Microsoft Client 32? The corruption I've seen is there are 2 bytes missing at some point in file and 2 extra bytes at some later point. This is causing the records where the 2 missing bytes through the records containing the 2 extra bytes appear to be shifted and appear corrupted. (shifts data between fields) Total file length is OK as is the total records.
