Yes it's true. If your older (FPD/FPW 2.x) programs still need to use the tables, you have two options:
1 don't add them to a DBC, so VFP doesn't change their structure.
2 keep parallel VFP and FP2.x copies of tables (maintenance headache).
If you want to bring the tables into a DBC you'll have to convert or rewrite all your old programs into VFP. How's your schedule look? <bg>
