I know what you mean. I'm REAL confused about which one you should be using. I'm pretty sure we'd have the documented problem of the 169, 170, 171 files problems if we used the Novell Client, but I don't know for sure that the Microsoft Client is the cause of my problem. And I've heard the Novell Client is a PITA to un-install if I do have a problem with it.

The proper way to tell which client is being used is to check the properties of the network and check the Configuration tab, correct? What exactly should it say for each of those two clients?
