>I am a bit surprised that the problem I have encountered with the newer HP printers (4000T, 6P)causing PC lockups after 2 - 4 print jobs within VFP6 has not been identified as a serious problem. Thanks to replies from Cetin Basoz & Marcus Manson, I was able to identify the problem.

Don't be too alarmed here! I reported problems a year and a half ago. MS turned me to HP and HP bought the printer back from us rather than fix the problem. This was a HP deskjet 720c but I duplicated it with higher number series. VFP wouldn't release resources after preview. I could lock up the machine everytime. HP said it was a memory leak in their driver but there wasn't enough support for VFP to fix it. :-(
