I am aware of type casting, I was just not aware of the necessity of doing it in VFP. Consider a table with 25 numerical fields and 1 currency field. Whenever, the currency field is involved in any calculation with the other fields (+,-,/,*) the result is a currency type! I bet a lot of people are not aware of this. The manual (?) should pay considerably more attention to this matter.
