this doesn't really help us now - but I know MS is working on tighter ActiveX integration for the next releases

also there are some notes in the readme.hlp that ships with VFP that are worth reading.
also there is a new document on VFP home that explains soem other issues regarding ActiveX (like how to bind controls)
