Title:
Refreshing the registry in windows 98
Is there any way from vfp (or any other language) to issue a re-read of the windows 98 registry after a key has been modified. I want to be able to change my monitor resolution based on a database value at the time of network login. The resolution value in the registry is updated by my program, but the monitor resolution change is not realized until the machine is re-logged in.
I want this function to work like the standard display properties control panel. The control panel has the capacity to change the screen resolution on the fly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
