Actually you cannot change the back color of a command button. The color is determine by your window's color scheme.
There are several workarounds including (1) creating your own "commandbutton" based on the container class and (2) overlaying a command button with an image.
These have been discussed at length in this forum from time to time. Search for "commandbutton color" and I think you'll learn more than you ever wanted to know about the subject.
