We're currently searching for a (cheap...) software able to handle incoming calls (ie calls from computers using DUN) under Win98 or RedHat Linux.

We have SMTP/POP3 servers running on both machines (ProxyMail under Win98, and PPP & Mail services under Linux). Everything works fine "locally".
We want now users to get connected via several modems (with a multiport card) to one of these 2 machines in order to send and collect mail. We haven't yet chosen Win98 because of its lack of security and enhancements regarding mail managing (anti-spam, blacklist, users rights, and so on).
And, if possible, we do not want to have it under NT4, since it's difficult to manage the system without using the GUI (we ought to buid Linux-like scripts), and more expensive.
So, if you have an idea, a software name, don't hesitate.
