If I have an object - 'Oapp' with a property 'cust' and also have class 'basecust' with several descendants and do the following:
oapp.cust=newobject('cashcust','customers') I can address the methods and properties of cashcust by oapp.cust.cashcustmethod. This works. My questions are, (1) is there a way to measure the overhead of doing it this way and (2) does oapp.cust=.NULL. completely remove all references to cashcust from meory??. I ask the second question because I will be calling the oapp.cust=newobject('othertypecust','customers') many times. Thank you for your help in this..
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
