Hi.

I think that you should make a credit checking routine and call it at appropriate spots in the system. How many customers will there be approximately? If there are many, checking every customer when logging-in may be a time waster. I would just call routine at spots in the system where it makes sense. For example: When a customer places a new order, check their credit status. I would also make it a menu option to check all customers' credit status and print a report if required.
