Christof I have noticed a lot of different timing issues in the handling of the GRID control and how it processes refreshing when records are APPENDED or DELETED and then refreshed as well as when you have the VALID and WHEN events firing from within the GRID. THis was definitely not the same as it was in VFP5. I have been having to rewrite a lot of my grid handling in my Invoice and other heavy data entry GRID controls. I have been working on MS to get the GRID cleaned up ever since 3.0 because of all of the wierd refreshing problems with the GRID. My favorite one is to have a grid with TABLE BUFFERING and then DELETE a record in the GRID and it DOES NOT disappear with SET DELETED ON. Now try it without TABLE BUFFERING and it works. So now I just do TABLEREVERTS.
