Is there a way to slow down a VFP program to mimic a slower machine? The newer computer don't come with a "Turbo" button which I used to use to slow it down for testing.

If you really need a thing like that, you may slow down your machine temporarily disabling internal and/or external cache in your motherboard's setup.

Just remember to put it back on, at least next day in the morning, before you smash your monitor :)
