Christian,

HP printer drivers are quite problematic, you might try using the Windows versions, and/or alternate lower model printer drivers. The resource meter should be loaded in the StartUp menu group, it will alert you before they hit a system crashing low value. 500 fonts is a lot, so that is a drain on resources itself. Unless you are doing desktop publishing you might want to eliminate fonts you never use.

It's possible that the crashes have trashed the FRT memo file especially if the scrash occuring during a save.

I use the VFP reports for 90% of my reports, the others are special forms developed under old DOS code and I still use them with ???. I also use Word via automation for some reports now. There are 3rd party alternatives like Crystal Reports, FoxFire and Bullseye. I've never used them so I can't say how easy they are to use.

>Thanks for your suggestions. But I could not see the resource problems, because the application is freezing the whole screen. But this may be a point: It must be a resource problem, maybe in connection with Windows 98 and Reports.
>I use HP LaserJet 5/5 - Enhanced as Printer Driver and about 500 Fonts or so.
>RAM is 64 MB, VFP version 6.0.
>Tomorrow or so I will install Norton Utilities or Crash Guard (we have it somewhere), hopefully I get some more information through this.
>Is it possible to find corruptions in forms or reports?
>I have to make 20 more reports or even more, so if I don't find the source of this problem, I have to use another Report tool.
>Do you have experience with other Report tools for VFP 6.0?
