Todd,

There's a FAQ here that I posted, it's also on my website, that would let you directly read a jpg from a URL into a string that you can save as a file. It requires IE to be installed on the system, but doesn't actually pop up a browser window.

>I am using VFP to create an internet explorer instance. For each record in my table I attempt to go to the URL (an image file actually). If I get a hit I want to save the file. I am using the ExecWB method using parameters of (4,2) which from what I've been able to determine should be a saveas without prompting the user. It invokes saveas alright but it sits there waiting for me to click save. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could pull this off?
