Jim,

Adding to yours, my experience (VFP5) was that ItemID stays behind even after a RemoveItem *and* that a subsequent AddListItem puts any item with the same ItemID into the "old" slot regardless, overriding whatever was stated in the parameters.

It was then that I learned to use the List property for all list manipulations, because my need for ItemID is nil (at least to date).
