Hi Geoff,
In data entry programs, I work on 'clones' of the original tables. The clones are 'CREATED' in the LOAD event of the forms. At safe time I copy the contents of the clones into the ad hoc tables, under a transaction scheme.
I'm probably duplicating VFP's buffering scheme, but I have found that in one-to-many input programs, with grids, it realy gives you a lot of flexibility.
