We use FoxSQZ. With that, you can integrate compression into your app. It's made by Master Creative Software. Their web site has changed and I'm having trouble finding it.

It has almost all the features of PKZIP. It comes in different versions that work for almost all versions of foxpro up to 3.0. That's kinda dated. I hope they have a new version for 5.0 and 6.0.

Although it does support long file names, it has problems accessing long folder names (i.e. "C:\Program files\*.*" would cause foxsqz to look in "C:\program") I've been trying to hunt down Maaster creative to check for an update. It also doesn't like to deal with long archive name (i.e. "test sqz.sqz"). I personally think it just has a problem with the space, not the fact that it's a long file name per-se. I don't know.

Other than those flaws it's pretty cool! It even comes with a command line version. If anyone knows their web site, please post it!
