Having done a conversion from FP 2.6 to VFP3 I don't recommend it. You will learn more about VFP and have a better product by rewriting it. In the long run you will save time. A rewrite shouldn't be too hard if you were already using the screen builders and snippets.

Try converting one of your screens as a test (make a backup first). You will see a mess of formsets, pageframes and all sorts nasty things that as there to support the old style of read (from what I understand). Then create that same form from scratch... The result will be must simpler.

P.S. There is a conversion tool that someone has posted in the files section. If it is good, it may negate the above.
