On our development/testing server (a Primary Domain Controller) somebody must have changed the NT Domain name for that server.
Whenever we try to access the IIS pages from a browser, it comes up with an authentication request now and regardless what password we type, it does not let us access web pages.

When I go to User Administration for Domains, the server complains that it cannot find the Domain Controller and I cannot fix the IUSR_machinename account

So I guess we should change the Domain Name for that server back to what it was before. Hoewever, the problem is that we DON'T KNOW the original domain name anymore.

Is there any way to find out?

Or is it time for a re-format?
