Not really just data transfer. You put your business logic in the COM DLL and run it in MTS. This can be validation, etc...not just transfering data.Craig, (rookie question coming, better duck)
From what I've been reading about MTS, it seems that business logic COM objects are best designed as separate components from your data objects that handle the transfer for you. Then the trick is to set your business logic components to require new transactions and have the data components get pulled into that transaction. Then take these related business logic components and their related data componenets and deploy them wrapped in 1 package. Is that the gist of it?
