If this was a one-time deal... You could write a program to process the DXF file and extract the data. This is assuming that you know characteristics concerning the placement of data or a consistent font size or something like that. My team wrote a fox routine to extract data out of DXFs. The reason it worked was because we knew the font sizes, and specific box types/sizes used. Let me know if this is something worth talk about. I will tell U that this was no easy program to write and test!
