Windows takes over with its own color scheme. You could use a picture instead of a literal caption for the button. Create a picture of the desired size in any graphic editor such as Paintbrush or Paint Shop Pro and save as a BMP. If all you want is text but with your choice of foreground and background colors, then just paste the text in your font choice in the picture.
