After installing winsock 2.0 on a win95 version 4.00.950a workstation, I receive a 'fatal error - cannot read IP configuration' error message when trying to run winipcfg.exe or ping.exe.
After running ws2bakup.bat, winipcfg and ping will return IP information. Any ideas why I get this error? Thanks.
