The Task Scheduler is just a tool that launches programs at certain times. You need a second VFP application (EXE) that accesses the database (just like your application) and displays a message. I'm not sure about NT, but in Windows 98 it's a little icon in the systray and available as a program in the System Tools menu (Scheduled Tasks). There you can select "Add a new Task" and select an EXE file in a dialog. After that you enter the interval and Windows launches the task at that time.
