>I am trying to make the switch to VFP 6.0 from 5.0. Whenever I look up a topic in the HTML help screen, however, I get an error message telling me that the internet site blah-blah-blah cannot be found. I have the MSDN Library CD and have it in the CD player. I can't believe that I have to be connected into the web to get a simple help screen. I can very quickly believe that I have done something stupid in setting this up. Any ideas??

You aren't one oh those people missing a CD are you? :)
First, it's faster if you install to your HD. But whether you do or not, you can set (in your Options/File Locations) the Help path to (this is for VS)

msdn98\98vs\1033\msdnvs98.col.

Then CD #2 is required, if you haven't installed the help. You can also target the Foxhelp.chm directly if that's all you'll use...
