John,
Double-check your CD case. Someone else complained of this, only to find the second CD in there on CLOSE inspection. It *IS* hard to see.
Good luck,

>Thanks a lot for helping me out here. I found part of my problem thanks to your suggestions, but have stumbled upon another. I had a CD-R drive attached when I installed VFP6.0, so my "regular" CD was assigned to F:. Now it is no longer connected, so the drive assignment changed to E:. So I uninstalled the MSDN library and reinstalled it. No more weird internet messages. However, it now asks for CD #2 every time I ask for help. I chose the Typical installation, not wanting to load 800 megs of help onto the C: drive (complicates the backup process). I don't have a MSDN CD #2. Do I have to choose the complete installation? What do I have to do to get a disk #2??

>>>I am trying to make the switch to VFP 6.0 from 5.0. Whenever I look up a topic in the HTML help screen, however, I get an error message telling me that the internet site blah-blah-blah cannot be found. I have the MSDN Library CD and have it in the CD player. I can't believe that I have to be connected into the web to get a simple help screen. I can very quickly believe that I have done something stupid in setting this up. Any ideas??
