The only known issue of which I am currently aware is that if you have a 350MHz AMD K6 chip or higher, you should definitely upgrade to Win 98 or NT from Win 95. A random timing loop issue in Win 95 occurs that won't allow the system to boot up.

Other than that, we have been using AMD K6 chips in all computers except servers for some time now and have not had any software related problems. Perhaps you should swap out the 200MHz K6 chip with a Pentium 200MHz and see whether or not the problem still occurs.
