There have been some documented problems. But I switched and have not regretted it, but then again I am not getting all the C..5 errors other threads are documenting. You will have to recompile all forms, classes, etc. Yes you can uninstall VFP5 before installing 6. Make sure you register the product then get the patches/updates found on the MS VFP home page.

Now might be a good time to upgrade your UT membership to Premier so you can search for all the other threads on VFP 6 features, etc., that came out shortly after its release.
