Today we upgraded to VFP 6.0 against my better judgement. (We have a Feb 1 deadline). VFP 5.0 has a bug which prevents us from printing properly on dotmatrix printers.

Here's the problem. Our project works perfectly under 5.0; however, when converted to 6.0, our two largest forms (both formsets) return a "SYNTAX ERROR" dialog with only an OK and HELP button. The debugger displays NOTHING. I spent two hours on the phone with Microsoft Tech support and was told over and over that they had never seen this before and obviously I had done something before converting... Wrong. Has anyone seen this problem? I have packed the SCT file, looked at it in database form, etc.

Microsoft made me uninstall and reinstall VFP so don't think about suggesting it again. All of my other forms work just fine -- and everything is fine in 5.0. I have tried opening a copy of the formset in 5.0 and removing the data environment and all INITs (I have no LOADS).

Microsoft's final solution was to ZIP up the entire app (a year long relatively proprietary project) and they would check it out. I have already given Bill my money and a big chunk of my time -- I really don't want to give him the whole enchilada.
