Hola All!

I'm running VFP 6 on a Dell 450, 128M Ram, 10 Gig Hard drive, running NT 4.0, sp 3. I've noticed, from time to time, when I am
closing down large tables. ( > 1 Million recs), the time it takes to close can stretch into 35 or 40 seconds. The whole time, VFP comes up as "Not Responding" on the NT Process Manager.

These tables are stored on a RAID 5 tower on a Windows NT server. I don't have delays that are nearly noticable when opening all of these tables.

I Close down the tables with a simple, "Close Databases" in the destroy event of my formset. Nothing fancy.

Has anyone else noticed these large lag times? Is there something I can do differently?
