G'Day. You may recall my previous posts about the problems with the VFP 5 setup wizard, and the setup in general.

I finally got a setup for VFP working using the InstallShield that comes with Visual Studio. I have been able to install the VFP runtime stuff and one (that's all I had) OCX on both Windows NT 4 and Windows 95. Using one of the testing tools I found on the net, I was able to verify that the install and de-install were properly setting things up in the registry and the winsys directory.

It also distrbutes the rest of my app, of course.

If any of you out there have InstallShield, and would like to use it for your VFP 5 apps (note - VFP 5 - I have not yet played with it for VFP 6), send me an E-mail (to Larry.Bradley@nrc.ca) and I'll send you what I've done.

Note: you better be familiar with InstallShield to make use of this - it ain't "plug-and-play".
