I cannot seem to get Word to become "visible" w/ OLE commands. Specifically I am trying to get an embedded Word Object to appear as if it were "bound", but have
opened from a file instead (we have a "reports" file that is over a gig in size in our Legacy app. these reports currently use WP/dos and keep a text version for viewing and a zipped version of the WP file)

Word is loading and the file is being opened (which can be verified by opening Word and viewing the documents listed under the Windows menu) and I am using the OLE Class "Word.Basic"

I have also tried using the FORMS designer and adding the OPEN command to the ::init method calling the default init() command first and the doing the FileOpen method.

Any tips?

BTW, is there a recommended OLE manual available and perhaps a MAPI manual?
